Samsung has launched 2017 Editions of Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A7 smartphones in India. Both smartphones along with the Galaxy A3 were first introduced at CES 2017 and now Samsung has made A5 and A7 official in India. Both are offered in Black Sky & Gold Sand colors and priced at ₹ 28,990 and ₹ 33,490 respectively. These devices will go on sale from 15th March, 2017 via Online as well Offline channels. Pre-booking begins 6th March through the Samsung E-Store and also from the offline retailers.
In terms of design, it features a sleek design with a premium aluminium frame and 3D curved glass back. Both devices come with an IP68 certification and for extended security, Samsung has also incorporated the Fingerprint sensor into the menu button. These smartphone flaunts a Full HD Super AMOLED display and powered by 1.9GHz Exynos 7880 processor with 3GB of RAM.
The major differences include the Display size and the Battery. Galaxy A5 features 5.2″ full HD display and 3000mAh battery while Galaxy A7 has a 5.7″ full HD Display with 3600mAh Battery. Rest all specifications including Camera, Sensors, Processor, RAM, Connectivity and Storage are same in both the phones. Both are Dual SIM 4G devices features a dedicated microSD slot and also support VoLTE.
