Update: 29th November 2019 – Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro was first introduced in India in October 2019 with three colors to choose from – Halo White, Gamma Green and Shadow Black. Now, Xiaomi has launched the Electric Blue color variant of Redmi Note 8 Pro in India. The new variant will be available buy via Mi.com, Amazon.in and Mi Home at 12 noon, 29th November 2019. The 6GB/64GB priced at ₹14,999, 6GB/128GB at ₹15,999 and the 8GB/128GB at ₹17,999. Apart from the color, there are no changes in the pricing as well as technical specifications.
Along with the Redmi Note 8, Xiaomi also launches Redmi Note 8 Pro, the successor of last years’ Redmi Note 7 Pro in India. It comes with a 6.53-inch Full HD+ Dot notch display with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Under the hood is MediaTek’s latest Helio G90T octa-core processor supported by a 4,5000 battery that supports 18W fast charging. Redmi Note 8 Pro is offered in three RAM/Storage variants – 6GB / 64GB, 6GB / 128GB and 8GB / 128GB.
Coming to the camera, the Redmi Note 8 Pro equipped with a Quad-camera setup on the rear side that includes a vertically-stacked Samsung-made 64MP GW1 sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, a 2MP macro lens, and also a 2MP depth sensor. For selfie, you’ll get an upgraded 20MP sensor that supports various AI modes. Alongside Face Unlock support, Redmi Note 8 Pro also comes with a fingerprint scanner that is mounted on the rear side.
