Just after Redmi’s entry, Realme now forays into the Indian laptop market with the launch of Realme Book Slim in India. It’s a mid-range device that comes with many trending features such as a USB-C port, a high-resolution 2K display, metal body, fast charging, etc., and is offered in two configurations. The Realme Book Slim comes with a 2K IPS display with a resolution of 2160 x 1440 pixels. One of the key highlights of the RealmeBook Slim is the aspect ratio. Most laptops nowadays come with a 16:10 aspect ratio but the RealmeBook Slim has an aspect ratio of 3:2. It is offered in two configurations – 11th Gen Intel Core i3 with 8GB RAM & 256GB Storage and 11th Gen Intel Core i5 with 8GB RAM & 512GB Storage. Both RAM and Storage are fixed and cannot be upgraded.
It comes preloaded with Genuine Microsoft Windows 10 Home and is also compatible with Windows 11 which is expected to be released in Q4 2021. Coming to the ports, the RealmeBook Slim is equipped with a Thunderbolt port (i5 only), USB-A 3.1 Gen 1 port, and USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port. There is also a 3.5mm audio jack which doubles as a headphone and a microphone-in. The laptop supports 65w fast charging and is capable of providing up to 11 hours of battery life.
