POCO today launches its much-anticipated gaming-centric device POCO F3 GT in India. It features an AMOLED display with a combination of 120Hz realty flow and a 480Hz touch sampling rate. According to POCO, the display has 6X faster-aiming accuracy and registers a smoother and lag-free user experience. The device also features 100% DCI-P3 color gamuts and is also HDR10+ certified for an improved viewing experience.
POCO F3 GT boasts a bold-new Slipstream design and is coated with an anti-fingerprint matte finish on the back. It has a 22-step engraved matte panel that features a metal frame, a glass body, coupled with three styles of bevels including a square bevel on the sides and a concave bevel on the top. The device weighs 8.3mm and comes with double-sided Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
One of the key highlights of the POCO F3 GT is the built-in “Maglev mechanical Triggers” for an enhanced gaming experience. The magnetic key on the smartphone pops up when required and enhances the overall experience while playing some high-action games such as CoD, PUBG, among others. Thes Maglev triggers are fine-tuned with magneto dynamic construction to ensure zero accidental touches and a seamless and lag-free experience while gaming. The POCO F3 GT also comes with premium X shockers that can decode up to 200 different vibrations effects.
POCO F3 GT offers a triple camera setup on the rear consisting of a 64MP primary camera with f/1.65 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera with a FOV of 119˚, and a 2MP macro camera. On the front, the device has a 16MP camera. Under the hood is MediaTek’s 6nm Dimensity 1200 chipset mated with a massive 5,065mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging. According to POCO, the device gets charged from 0 to 50% battery in just 15 minutes.
Additionally, POCO is also bundling an L-shaped charging cable that allows charging the phone even while gaming. Other key features are dual stereo speakers, Dolby Atmos, triple mic setup, side-mounted fingerprint sensor, IP53 rating, 5G SA+NSA support, dual-channel UFS storage, and Aerospace grade vapor chamber cooling. POCO F3 GT will be available in two colors – Gunmetal Silver & Predator Black and will be available in three storage variants 6+128GB, 8+128GB, and 8+256GB.
