Panasonic has launched a new Ray series smartphone Eluga Ray and P series smartphone P85 in India. Back in March 2017, Panasonic has introduced a new smartphone series Eluga Ray with the Launch of Eluga Ray X and Ray Max. Along with both the devices, Panasonic has also launched an Artificial Intelligent Assistant called ‘Arbo’.
Panasonic Eluga Ray
Eluga Ray features a 5″ IPS display and powered by the 1.3GHz MediaTek processor with 3GB of RAM. It comes with a Metal unibody design and the rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. Other key specifications include 4000mAh Battery, 13MP Rear & 5MP Front Camera, Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS, IR Blaster, and FM Radio. This smartphone runs on Android Marshmallow and supports AI Assistant Arbo. It’s a Dual SIM 4G device supports VoLTE and also Selfie flash.
Panasonic Eluga Ray is offered in Rose Gold, Space Grey, and Gold colors and exclusively available via Flipkart at ₹ 7,999.
Difference between Eluga Ray and Eluga Ray X
The major difference between both smartphones includes the Display, RAM, and Internal Storage. Eluga Ray comes with a Panda Glass protected 5″ 720 Display with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. Previously launched Eluga Ray X has a Gorilla Glass 3 Protected 5.5″ 720p Display with 3GB RAM and 32GB Storage.

Panasonic P85
P85 is an entry-level smartphone comes with a 5″ Display and powered by the 1GHz Quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM. In terms of camera, it has an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and 2MP front camera. Same as Eluga Ray it also boasts a massive 4000mAh battery and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. There is no fingerprint scanner and IR blaster. Also, it doesn’t support AI assistant Arbo.
