OPPO expands A-series lineup with the launch of OPPO A16 in India. Its an entry-level 4G smartphone comes with a 6.52-inch HD+ 60Hz display with a V-shaped display notch and powered by MediaTek Helio G35 with a 5,000mAh battery. It also supports ‘AI Smart Backlighting’ that learns about your environmental conditions to provide you with a “customized” smart backlight experience.
In the camera part, OPPO A16 features a triple camera setup on the rear that includes a 13MP main camera, 2MP bokeh, and a 2MP macro camera. On the front, the phone has an 8MP selfie camera that support AI beautification and also 1080p video recording. Other key features are a side-mounted fingerprint reader, Super nighttime standby, IPX4 protection, Smart temperature control, Eye-care mode, Dazzling mode, Idle time optimizer etc.
The OPPO A16 comes in two color options – Crystal Black & Pearl Blue and priced at ₹13,990.
