Update: 2/32GB variant launch: OPPO A15 was first introduced in the 2nd week of October with a 3/32GB configuration. Now, to make it more affordable, OPPO announces a 2/32GB variant of OPPO A15 in India. The OPPO A15 2GB RAM and 32GB storage variant is priced at ₹9,490 and available across Amazon.in and also through retail channels starting 6th November 2020.
Earlier: 15th October 2020 – OPPO launches OPPO A15, an upgraded version of OPPO A12 which was introduced in India back in July 2020. It comes with a 6.53-inch HD+ display with a dewdrop-styled notch and powered by the MediaTek Helio P35 processor with a 4,230mAh battery. It offers 3GB RAM, 32GB storage, and also equipped with a fingerprint reader on the rear side.
In the camera part, the OPPO A15 has a triple camera setup that includes a primary 13MP camera, 2MP depth, and also a 2MP macro camera. All three sensors along with a LED flash are positioned on a square-shaped module on the rear top left. Over to the front, the device has a 5MP selfie camera housed inside the waterdrop notch.
OPPO A15 also supports various camera features such as Portrait Bokeh mode with portrait filters, AI scene recognition, AI scene enhancement with 21 different styles, 15 photo filters, and 10 video filters. Other key features are a 3D curved body, Face unlock, Dedicated microSD slot, Full HD video recording, HyperBoost 2.1, etc.
The OPPO A15 comes in two colours – Dynamic Black & Mystery Blue and will be available to buy in India via Amazon.in at ₹10,990. As a part of Amazon’s Great Indian Festival, buyers can avail 10% instant discount of HDFC cards.
