OnePlus today officially announced that it will launch its much-awaited OnePlus Nord in India on 21st July 2020 through the world’s first AR smartphone launch. The OnePlus Nord AR launch can be experienced through the OnePlus Nord AR App on 21st July at 7:30 pm IST.
The OnePlus Nord pre-orders will begin on Amazon.in from 15th July 2020 onwards for ₹499. Upon pre-ordering, users will receive a surprise gift box containing limited-edition merchandise from OnePlus. Pre-order customers who complete the purchase of the device by 31st August will receive a second gift box containing OnePlus Bullets Wireless V1 and a phone cover.
How to watch OnePlus Nord AR launch event?
OnePlus has also released a dedicated app called OnePlus Nord AR App to watch the AR event live. You can download the app from the Google Play Store as well as from Apple App Store. Install the app and accept the permissions necessary for the AR experience. Launch the app and follow instructions to set up your avatar and the app.
On launch day, Open the OnePlus Nord AR App at 7:30 pm IST on 21st July 2020 and follow the instructions on-screen to start the AR experience. Make sure you have a good internet connection to have a consistent AR streaming experience. OnePlus has also created a physical AR invitation to give a unique hands-on experience of the OnePlus Nord product via AR. OnePlus has asked interested users to stay tuned to the OnePlus Nord Instagram account and Amazon.in to learn more about how to obtain a physical invitation.
