After launching OnePlus Nord 2 in India in July 2021, OnePlus now introduces a special edition of the OnePlus Nord 2 in collaboration with BANDAI NAMCO Europe S.A.S: the OnePlus Nord 2 × PAC-MAN Edition. The OnePlus Nord 2 × PAC-MAN Edition comes with a fully customized phone experience with fun games, challenges, and exclusive PAC-MAN content.
The OnePlus Nord 2 PAC-MAN Edition comes with an all-new design with a dual film rear cover featuring the design aesthetics of both brands. The outermost film includes signature PAC-MAN elements – such as the game’s iconic PAC-DOTS and PAC-MAN. The innermost film has a glossy phosphorescent design that glows in the dark to reveal a neon maze inspired by PAC-MAN. OnePlus and Nord elements are also integrated into the maze.
Additionally, the alert slider of the OnePlus Nord 2 × PAC-MAN Edition sports the same dark blue color as the TURN-TO-BLUE, vulnerable ghosts from PAC-MAN that appear when the player eats a POWER PELLET. The OnePlus Nord 2 x PAC-MAN Edition comes with a DIY PAC-MAN phone holder, featuring popular characters from the arcade classic. The phone holder’s design is inspired by Penrose stairs and symbolizes PAC-MAN’s iconic gameplay loop.
Coming to the Software, this special OnePlus Nord 2 comes with a customized OxygenOS with a retro makeover. Starting with the software’s classic icons that have been overhauled with a fun pixelated aesthetic inspired by lo-fi video games. The devices also include custom static and dynamic wallpapers, depicting different stages of PAC-MAN’s journey into the OnePlus universe. The OnePlus Nord 2 × PAC-MAN Edition is priced at ₹37,999 for the 12/256GB variant and goes on sale at 12 noon starting 16th November 2021. You can buy the device from OnePlus Experience Stores, OnePlus.in, and amazon.in. Buyers can also avail of an additional discount of ₹2,000 while purchasing this special edition device. On Amazon.in, Citibank users can avail of an instant bank discount for ₹1,000 and a discount of ₹1,250 on 3 and 6-month EMI options.
Buyers will also get 3 months of Spotify Premium for free through the Red Cable Club platform. Customers purchasing the OnePlus Nord 2 x PAC-MAN edition smartphone will also get a free OnePlus Nord 2 x PAC-MAN phone holder. Once purchased, the buyer needs to join the Red Cable Club (RCC) membership on their smartphones, head to ‘Benefit Center’ on the membership page, and get the voucher.
