OnePlus is all set to launch its much-anticipated OnePlus 10T 5G globally on 3rd August 2022. OnePlus has already revealed its design, camera, and chipset. Now, the OnePlus has officially announced the battery capacity, charging speed, and safety features of the OnePlus 10 5G. Check out all the information in detail below.
The upcoming flagship OnePlus 10T is backed by a 4800mAh battery and supports 150W SUPERVOOC Endurance Edition. According to OnePlus, the device goes from 1-100% in just 19 minutes. Also, about 10 minutes of charge will give you a day’s worth of power. All OnePlus 10T models come with a 160W SUPERVOOC power adapter and a USB-C cable in the box. The supplied power brick also supports the USB PD (Power Delivery) charging protocol and allows you quickly charge laptops, tablets, and mobile gaming consoles.

Battery Health Engine
OnePlus 10T supports a feature called Battery Health Engine, an exclusive technology that powers two key features designed to extend the lifespan and preserve the capacity of the device’s battery. The Battery Health Engine includes – Smart Battery Health Algorithm and Battery Healing Technology. As per OnePlus, this technology helps the OnePlus 10T’s battery, being charged with 150W SUPERVOOC Endurance Edition, retain at least 80% of its original capacity after 1,600 charge cycles – that’s equivalent to almost four years of usage.
OnePlus 10T 5G is also equipped with five additional safety features – the Dual charge pump, VFC trickle charging optimization algorithm, a Customized Smart Charging Chip, Temperature sensors and a 128-bit encryption algorithm.
- Dual charge pump – The OnePlus 10T’s charging system includes two charging pumps instead of one. This means that when charging the OnePlus 10T 5G with 150W SUPERVOOC Endurance Edition, each pump provides a 75W charge to the device’s battery. This allows the OnePlus 10T to charge faster with the highest safety, improved efficiency, and reduced heat.
- VFC trickle charging optimization algorithm – It improves the charging efficiency of the last 10% of the OnePlus 10T’s battery from 90-100%. This technology can adjust the current and voltage of a charge to the accuracy of 100 mA and 10 mV to take charging efficiency even further and reduce heat. It minimizes the time the OnePlus 10T’s battery spends at 100% to improve its longevity.
- Smart Charging Chip: Charging on the OnePlus 10T is managed by a customized Smart Charging Chip that recognizes input current and voltage, then provides an adaptable combination to the battery.
- Temperature sensors: The OnePlus 10T is fitted with 13 temperature sensors that always detect the device’s charging temperature to provide a safe fast-charging experience.
- 128-bit encryption algorithm: It recognizes official SUPERVOOC charging adapters and cables, so you can only charge at 150W SUPERVOOC Endurance Edition speeds with hardware designed to support it to guarantee charging safety.
Note that the 150W SUPERVOOC Endurance Edition is only supported by charging outlets rated at 220 volts or above. It means, that if you’re in Europe, India, and many other territories across the globe, you’ll be able to charge the OnePlus 10T 5G with 150W SUPERVOOC Endurance Edition.
However, if you’re in North America, most power outlets are rated at 110 or 120 volts. This means the OnePlus 10T will charge with 125W SUPERVOOC Endurance Edition with a slight change in the charging speeds. With 125W SUPERVOOC Endurance Edition OnePlus 10T 5G goes from 1-100% in 20 minutes, and you can get a day’s power with 10 minutes of charging.
