Nokia 5.3 with 6.55-inch Display, Quad Rear Cameras, Stock Android Launched at ₹13,999

Update: India Launch – Nokia 5.3 was first introduced in March 2020 and now after a long wait, Nokia finally brings the mid-ranger to India. It comes in three colors – Cyan, Sand, & Charcoal and will go on sale via Nokia.com and Amazon.in starting 1st September 2020. In India, the Nokia 5.3 is offered in two configurations – 4/64GB & 6/64GB priced at ₹13,999 and ₹15,499 respectively.

Earlier: Global Launch – 20th March 2020 – Along with the Nokia 1.3 and Nokia 5310 feature phone Nokia also launches Nokia 5.3, a mid-range smartphone with a Quad camera. It boasts a 6.55-inch display with a V-shaped notch and powered by Snapdragon 655 octa-core CPU with a 4,000mAh battery. The Nokia 5.3 runs on the latest Android 10 (Stock) and will also receive 3-years of Android updates. It comes in 3GB/4GB/6GB RAM options with 64GB internal storage on-board.

For photography, the device gets a quad-camera array on the rear, mounted on a circular module with a LED flash at the center. The setup includes a primary 13MP camera, 5MP ultra-wide camera, 2MP depth sensor and also a 2MP macro camera. On the front, it has an 8MP f/2.0 camera placed inside the display notch. For security, the device supports Face Unlock and also houses a fingerprint scanner on the back just below the camera module.
