After launching the 2G and 3G variant of Nokia 3310, HMD global has announced the 4G variant of Nokia 3310 in China. The Nokia 3310 2G variant was first introduced at MWC 2017 followed by a 3G variant in November 2017. In terms of design, the newly introduced 4G variant is almost similar to the 3G variant but there are few changes in the technical specifications. The Nokia 3310 4G supports WiFi hotspot allows you to share your internet connection with other devices and also include an upgraded Bluetooth 4.0 chip.
Another major change is the operating system. The 4G variant runs on YunOS instead Java powered Feature OS of 3G variant. It is available only in Single SIM configuration and also supports VoLTE. This device equipped with the 1200mAh battery and can provide up to 8 hours of 4G talk time. It has a 2.4” display with a polarized layer for better readability in sunlight and has a 2MP rear camera with LED flash. There are two storage variants – 256MB & 512MB and also a microSD slot to expand the device storage up to 64GB.
The Nokia 3310 4G will be offered in two colors – Blue & Charcoal. The company may also introduce Red and Yellow color variant at a later date. As of now, there is no official information about the price and the date of availability. Nokia might launch 3310 4G in the Indian market soon.
