Motorola has launched Moto Z and Moto Z Play modular smartphones in India. Both smartphones to be available starting 17th October through Amazon Indian and Flipkart at ₹ 39,999 and ₹ 24,999 respectively. Both smartphones support Moto Mods.
Moto Mods
Moto mods connect to the rear of the smartphones via the 16-dot connector. Motorola has introduced 4 mods namely JBL Soundboost Speaker, Hasselblad True Zoom Camera, Instashare Projector and Incipio offGRID Power Bank.These mods are available at special bundle price when bought with the phone.
Moto Z
Moto Z offers a 5.5″ Quad HD AMOLED display with a resolution of 2560×1440 and a pixel density of 535ppi. It is powered by 1.8 GHz Quad-core Qualcomm snapdragon 820 processor and 4GB of RAM. In the camera department, it features a 13MP f/1.8 primary camera, 5MP f/2.2 front camera, and 2600mAh battery. It runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0.1. In Moto Z 3.5mm audio jack is replaced by a common USB Type-C port.Motorola has included a 3.5mm to USB Type C headphone port adapter in the package.
