Along with the Moto G6, Motorola has also introduced Moto G6 Play in India. It is the toned-down variant of Moto G6, comes with the 5.7-inch HD+ display instead of Full HD+ display on the Moto G6. Another major change is the camera, instead of Dual camera setup, the Moto G6 has a single 13MP rear camera and 8MP front with LED flash on both. It is powered by the octa-core Snapdragon 427 processor clocked at 1.4GHz with a bigger 4000mAh battery that supports Turbo charging.
In India, the Moto G6 Play is available in 3GB RAM and 32GB Storage configuration with dedicated microSD slot. The fingerprint scanner is placed just below the rear camera module with a Shiny Moto logo. The rear camera of the Moto G6 Play uses phase detection autofocus (PADF) for faster focusing and automatically takes multiple shots and recommends the best one to keep. The front camera also supports Beautification. Other key specifications are 5GHz WiFi, FM Radio, VoLTE, and Micro USB port.
