Just after launching the G5 Plus, Motorola has launched Moto G5 in India at ₹ 11,999. It is the lighter version of G5 Plus with few changes in the specifications. In terms of design, both look similar excluding the camera bump on the G5 Plus. Moto G5 is available as 3GB RAM with 16GB storage variant with two colors – Lunar Gray and Fine Gold. It is exclusively available via Amazon India starting 24th April 2017, at 11.59 PM.
Major Difference Between Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus
Moto G5 features a 5″ display which is slightly smaller than the 5.2″ display of the G5 Plus. The 13MP rear camera on the G5 is capable of recording full HD videos at 30fps while G5 Plus features a 12MP rear camera powered by Dual Auto-focus Pixel technology for faster Autofocus. The front camera is same on both devices i.e 5MP. The Moto G5 packs a 2800mAh battery with 10W rapid charger while Moto G5 Plus houses a 3000mAh battery with 15W rapid charger that provides up to six hours of battery life in just 15 minutes.
In terms of processor, G5 Plus houses a 2 GHz Snapdragon 625 which is more powerful and fluid compared with the 1.4GHz Snapdragon 430 on the G5. Apart from the Moto Actions on both devices, G5 Plus includes a new experience called One Button Nav, which lets you quickly navigate through screens using the fingerprint reader.
