After launching Mi Notebook 14 e-Learning Edition (Review) Mi India now expands its laptop lineup with the launch of Mi Notebook 14 (IC) in India. It sports a 14-inch Full HD display with an 81.2% screen-to-body ratio and equipped with an in-built HD webcam to make online learning and work from home easily. It’s a thin, light-weight laptop that weighs about 1.5kg and made up of an Aluminium and Magnesium alloy coated through a process of anodized sandblasting giving it a sturdy and svelte look.
Under the hood is the 10th Gen Intel Core i5 CometLake processor which clocks up to 4.2GHz for improved performance. The device is paired with 8GB of DDR4 RAM clocked at 2666MHz and up to 512GB of SATA SSD storage. Apart from the variant with integrated graphics, Mi Notebook 14 (IC) is also offered in NVIDIA GeForce MX250 with 2GB of video RAM. It offers a 46Wh battery which delivers a backup of up to 10 hours. It comes with a 65W fast charger that gets you up and running from 0 to 50% in just over 35 mins.
Mi Notebook 14 (IC) has a scissor based keyboard mechanism with a key travel distance of 1.3mm for a comfortable typing experience. The multi-touch trackpad supports Microsoft Precision Drivers allowing multiple gesture-based navigations. Additionally, the trackpad also comes with a palm-rejection built-in to cancel any unintended touches. Other key features are Windows 10 Home OS, Stereo speakers, DTS audio processing, USB 3.1 ports, HDMI 1.4b port, and a 3.5mm jack.
