Xiaomi Mi Max 2 with 6.44″ Display, 4GB RAM, IR Blaster, 5300mAh Battery Launched at ₹ 16,999

Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is the successor of Mi Max was first launched in China and today it is officially launched in India. It sports a big 6.44″ display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection and powered by the Snapdragon 625 Octa-core processor with 4GB of RAM. Coming to the design, it features a full metal unibody with rounded edges for better in hand feel and rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. Similar to Mi Max, it also comes with a Hybrid SIM tray lets you add two SIM cards or a Nano SIM and a microSD card up to 128GB.

Apart from the big 6.44″ display, it also packs a massive 5300mAh battery with Quick charge 3.0 and Parallel charging support. As per Xiaomi, the battery gets charged up to 68% in 60 minutes and a full battery can provide up to 31 days of standby time. Another major improvement over Mi max is the camera. Mi Max 2 comes with improved Sony made IMX386 12MP camera capable of shooting 4K videos at 30fps. The front camera has a 5MP sensor supports Beautify. It offers an internal storage of 64GB and boots on MIUI 8.0 based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat. Also, it will get MIUI 9 update in coming weeks. The connectivity options included are Bluetooth, USB Type-C port, 3.5mm Audio port, Dual Band WiFI ac, GPS, and IR Blaster.

Mi Max 2 is sold in Matte Black color and priced at ₹ 16,999. It will be available from 20th July 2017 on Mi.com and Mi Home at 12 PM as a part of 3rd Mi Anniversary sale. Starting July 27, It will be available on open sale across all online partner platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, Tata Cliq, Paytm Mall and Offline channels such as Poorvika, Reliance Digital, Sangeetha Mobiles, BigC, Croma etc. Xiaomi has also partnered with Reliance Jio wherein every Mi Max 2 buyer will get extra 10GB of 4G data on every recharge of ₹ 309 and above, limited to 10 recharges till May 2018.
