Lenovo expands its Android tablet family with the launch of two new tablets – Lenovo Tab M7 and Lenovo Tab M8. The Lenovo Tab M7 comes with a 7-inch display and powered by the MediaTek processor and available in multiple RAM/Storage variants – 1GB/8GB, 2GB/16GB & 2GB/32GB. It is equipped with a 3,590mAh battery that provides up to 10 hours of video watching.
Both tablets support Kid’s Mode 3.0, an independent account that offers customized kids content for children under 12 years of age. Kids who pick up the tablet will be switched directly to their kids’ account that offers a child-friendly interface with access to games, built-in applications, videos, audio and books that offer educational content in 44 languages. Parents can also make use of Parental controls to limit children’s usage time.
The Lenovo Tab M8 sports an 8-inch display and powered by the MediaTek Helio A22 Processor with 5,000 battery. It is equipped with Dolby-powered front-facing speaker and also 2MP front camera & 5MP rear camera. Lenovo Tab M8 FHD edition comes with 5MP front camera and a 13MP rear camera with LED flash. Apart from the camera and full HD screen resolution, rest all specifications remains the same as the regular HD variant.
The Lenovo Tab M7 1GB RAM variant runs on the Android 9 Pie (Go Edition) wherein the Tab M7 2GB RAM variant and Tab M8 run on the regular Android 9.0 Pie OS. Both tablets are certified by TÜV Rheinland for eye protection and come with Built-in facial recognition that can quickly identify who’s holding the tablet and unlocks the corresponding account.
Lenovo Tab M7 starts at €99 (Approx. ₹7,850) and the Lenovo Tab M8 (HD) starts at €139 (Approx. ₹11,100). Both tablets will be available starting in October 2019 via lenovo.com and select retailers outlets. Lenovo Tab M8 FHD edition price starts at €159 (Approx. ₹12,600) and expected to available starting in October 2019 on lenovo.com and also through select retailer outlets.
