In a move to expedite digital inclusion for every Indian household, Jio has introduced JioSpaceFiber as a new addition to its top-tier broadband services, alongside JioFiber and JioAirFiber. This satellite network will not only bolster additional capacity for mobile backhaul but also amplify the accessibility and reach of Jio True5G to even the India’s most remote areas.

Jio is partnering with SES to access the world’s latest in medium earth orbit (MEO) satellite technology, the only MEO constellation capable of delivering unique Gigabit, fiber-like services from space. Jio is the only company that has access to both SES’s O3b and the new O3b mPOWER satellites. This allows them to offer a special kind of technology that gives reliable and flexible internet service all over India.
