Huawei expands its tablet line-up with the launch of Huawei MatePad T8 in India. It boasts a metal body with ultra-slim design and equipped with an 8-inch display. One of the key highlights of MatePad T8 is the embedded 5,100mAh battery which is capable of running for upto 12 hours of video playback and web browsing. The device offers 2GB RAM, 32GB storage and powered by the MediaTek MT8768 Octa-core CPU.
The Huawei MatePad T8 comes with four pre-installed apps namely Recorder, Camera, Multimedia, and Kids Painting. It also supports parental controls to control children accessing the tablet and a few additional features such as Posture alert, Time management alert etc. Other key features are EMUI 10, Face unlock, 2MP front camera, and 5MP rear camera. The tablet runs on EMUI 10.0.1 based on Android 10.
The Huawei MatePad T8 is comes in Tranquil Blue color with two versions – LTE and WiFi and priced at ₹10,999 and ₹9,999 respectively. Additionally, during the pre-order phase, the LTE version of MatePad T9 will be available at a discounted price of ₹9,999. The pre-order phase starts on Flipkart from 8th September and valid till 14th September 2020. Open sale from 15th September onwards.
