The Huami Amazfit X Smartwatch was first introduced at IFA 2019 and now finally available to purchase on crowdfunding on Indiegogo. Amazfit X features a 2.07-inch AMOLED display with 92-degree curved glass to fit your wrist and has a resolution of 206×640 pixels with a pixel density of 326. There is also a 3-segment-motherboard connected through the flexible circuit in order to adapt the device’s curves.
In terms of design, the Amazfit X features a minimalistic button-free design and made of titanium alloy for better durability and also to provide a premium look. It is backed by a force-sensing sensor that allows users to complete the operation through the force-sensing button on the right side of the watch and responds to touch with textured & natural vibrations.
The smart fitness tracker equipped with Huami self-developed BioTracke PPG optical sensor and supports high-precision 24/7 continuous heart rate measurement with heart rate zones. It also the stress level when the user is feeling tense through heart rate variability. It monitors the heart rate throughout the day and will give updates on where the stress levels are – Relaxed, Normal, Medium, and High.
Amazfit X also supports PAI Health technology that tracks all of your activity based on your heart rate data and translates it into an easy-to-understand score giving you the health effects of your exercise. It is a single actionable metric, which can make sense of heart rate and an easy way to see if you’re doing enough exercise to stay healthy. Besides PAI, Amazfit X also comes with a built-in SpO2 sensor that helps you measure oxygen levels in your blood.
Amazfit X provides 9 sports modes including outdoor running, walking, outdoor cycling, indoor cycling, open water swimming, pool swimming, elliptical trainer, indoor fitness, and treadmill. It has a 5ATM water-resistant design and also supports GPS + GLONASS dual-satellite positioning system that allows you to easily track your route. Coming to the battery, the Amazfit X is backed by a 200mAh curved lithium battery and the company claims that the smartwatch lasts up to 7-days on a single charge.
When Amazfit X is connected to the smartphone, it supports notifications push from SMS messages, emails, calendar, and all contents will be displayed on the display. Built-in apps are also available for easy access directly on the watch itself instead of the phone. Apart from the built-in watch faces, more watch faces can be downloaded from Amazfit App.
Huami Amazfit X Pricing and availability
The Amazfit X is offered in two colors – Eclipse Black & New Moon Gold and will be available starting 28th April on Indiegogo. The suggested crowdfunding price starts at $149. (Approx. ₹11,400). Also make a note that, Huami Amazfit X Smartwatch will be available globally without shipping fees. The price mentioned above is only for a very limited period and will go up soon after the campaign end.
