Honor X10 Goes Official with 90Hz Display, 5G Support, RYYB Sensor

Honor today announces HONOR X10, the first 5G smartphone in the X-series. It sports a 6.67-inch Full HD+ IPS display with a screen refresh rate of 90Hz and also has a screen-to-body ratio of 92% for better user experience. Additionally, the device also features custom-built components and HONOR’s self-developed algorithm optimizes the screen’s visibility under bright sunlight. Under the is Huawei’s 5G-supported 7nm Kirin 820 SoC that supports both non-standalone and standalone modes and supports nine 5G frequency bands.

The device also comes with a smart antenna that allows the device to receive send and receive signals effectively even when the user moves between areas of differing 5G coverage. The six-core Mali-G57 GPU of the HONOR X10 has a Smart Cache feature that implements flexible switching of bandwidth resources to reduce power consumption. Furthermore, the device also supports Kirin Gaming+ 2.0 & GPU Turbo for improved gaming.

Coming to the photography, the HONOR X10 features a triple camera setup which includes an exclusive RYYB filter. The camera setup comprises of a 40MP primary camera, 8MP wide-angle camera and an RYYB filter that increases the light intake by up to 40% and supports ISO of up to 153,600. Over to front, the device gets a 16MP Selfie camera that supports various AI camera modes. It offers 8GB RAM, 128GB storage, 4,300mAh battery with 10V 2.25A fast charging, and runs on Android-based Magic UI 3.1.

The HONOR X10 will be available in Sapphire Blue, Midnight Black, Titanium Silver, and Fiery Orange and will go on sale in China starting 26th May 2020. Prices start at RMB 1899 (Approx. ₹20,400) for the 6/64GB variant, RMB 2199 (Approx. ₹23,600) for the 6/128GB version, and RMB 2399 (Approx. ₹25,700) for the 8/128GB version.
