After the MWC 2020 was officially canceled, HONOR has officially announced that it will be launching its first laptop series, HONOR MagicBook, and a new smartphone called Honor 9X Pro, the upgraded version of Honor 9x, at a global launch event on the 24th February 2020 in Barcelona, Spain.
The HONOR 9X Pro will be the brand’s first HMS (Huawei Mobile Services) based smartphone with 7nm Kirin 810 Chipset. The smartphone is expected to feature several AI capabilities, low energy consumption and improved gaming experience backed by powerful performance. The launch event will be live-streamed on 24th Feb 2020 at 18:30 CET or 11 PM IST on the company’s social media handles.
In a press release the brand said that “its commitment of bringing an expanded ecosystem of products for its consumer base present globally, HONOR MagicBook marks the brand’s foray into a brand new category. The launch will further strengthen the brand’s 1+8+N strategy, an ecosystem that integrates one smartphone, eight categories of additional connected products and a wide range of third-party linked devices.”
