The Honor 9A is an entry-level smartphone sports a 6.3-inch HD+ IPS display with a waterdrop notch and powered by MediaTek MT6762R octa-core processor with a 5,000mAh battery. It offers 3GB RAM and 64GB internal storage and also equipped with a dedicated MicroSD slot that supports up to 512GB. The Honor 9A also supports reverse charging so that you charge other compatible devices.
In the camera part, the device has a triple camera setup on the rear that includes vertically stacked 13MP main camera, 5MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, the device gets an 8MP front camera housed inside a U-shaped notch. Other key features are Magic UI 3.1, Smart PA amplifier, Fingerprint reader, and Huawei Histen 6.0.
Even Honor 9A runs on Android 10, it does not support Google Play instead comes with Huawei Mobile Services (HMS). So you’ll not be able to use Google Play Store and other Google apps such as Google Maps, Google Drive, etc on Honor 9A. As an alternative, you can use Huawei’s own App Gallery to download the apps and games.
Honor 9A comes in two colors – Black & Blue and priced at ₹8,999. It will go on sale via Amazon.in starting 6th August 2020.
