Honor 8 was the first Dual camera smartphone under Honor brand which was launched in October for ₹ 29,999. Today, Huawei Technologies has launched a mid-range Dual camera smartphone Honor 6X starting at ₹ 12,999. It was first introduced at CES 2017 and today it’s officially launched in India exclusively via Amazon. It features an all-metal body with the Dual camera setup at the rear side. It’s a Dual SIM 4G device features a hybrid slot that supports microSD up to 128GB.
The fingerprint scanner is mounted just below the rear camera and capable of unlocking the smartphone in 0.3 seconds. You can also use this to browse photo album or to take a selfie with a single finger tap. Honor 6X comes with a 5.5″ full HD IPS display and powered by 1.7 GHz Kirin 655 processor with 3GB or 4GB of RAM. It packs a fast charging supported 3340mAh battery and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Other specifications include WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, VoLTE, USB OTG, and Phone status indicator.
In the camera department, The rear camera features a 12MP + 2MP (f/0.95 – f/16) dual camera setup with LED flash. The wide aperture range will let you take professional grade photos with blurred background by manually adjusting the focus. The front camera has an 8MP sensor with 77° wide angle lens to take wider selfies.
Honor 6X is offered in three color options – Gray, Gold, and Silver. The 3GB RAM/32GB Storage variant is priced at ₹ 12,999 and 4GB RAM / 64GB Storage at ₹ 15,999. It is exclusively available via Amazon India starting Feb 2. Registration starts 24th Jan and the first flash sale is scheduled on February 2nd at 2 PM.
