Haier today announced the expansion of its Google-certified Android LED TV S8 series in India. The S8 Series Smart TVs come with a 4K HDR panel and are offered in two screen sizes – 139cm (55-inch) and 165cm (65-inch). These TVs boast a near-bezel-less all-screen display and are equipped with 6 front-mounted 30W speakers.
The TVs are powered by comes with the latest Android 9.0 operating system and can also act as an IoT hub for all smart devices, allowing the users to navigate and control their connected devices seamlessly. The series also supports Google Assistant that lets the user navigate the TV with just a voice command and built-in Google Chromecast for screen sharing. Furthermore, the TV can be controlled through Bluetooth Voice remote control and Android TV mobile application.
The Haier S8-series also comes with a built-in Google Play Store, multiple media streaming apps, and a Bluetooth 5.0 equipped remote control with Google Assistant voice built-in button and Hotkeys for Netflix and YouTube. The TV has two USB ports, along with built-in Wi-Fi. Apart from the 6 front speakers, these TVs also support a Dolby Digital decoder that optimizes the TV’s sound quality while providing a high-quality bass for a theatre-like sound effect at their homes.
