After launching Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro, Google now launches the much-anticipated Pixel 6a at Google I/O 2022. It comes with a 6.1-inch AMOLED display with a 60Hz refresh rate and is also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 Cover Glass. The device is powered by Google’s own Tensor Chip and backed by a 4306mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. The Google Pixel 6a offers 6GB RAM, 128GB of storage and includes an under-display fingerprint reader.
In the camera part, the Pixel 6a comes with a dual-camera setup on the rear side that includes a 12.2MP Dual Pixel Wide sensor supported by a 12MP Ultra-wide sensor. On the front, the device gets an 8MP camera housed inside a tiny circular display cutout on the top centre. The device runs on Android 12 out of the box and Google has also promised over 6-years of Android security updates to Pixel 6a.
