Update: Pixel 4a India Launch: Almost two months after the global debut, Google finally announces the pricing of Pixel 4a in India. It is priced at ₹29,999 and will go on sale via Flipkart starting 16th October 2020 during Big Billion Days sale. Buyers can also avail 10% instant discount on SBI cards. Make a note that, ₹29,999 is an introductory pricing and will change to ₹ 31,999 once the offer ends.
Earlier: Global Launch – 3rd August 2020 – After a very long wait, Google finally announces its mid-range smartphone Google Pixel 4a. It sports a 5.81-inch Full HD+ OLED display and powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G Mobile Platform with 6GB RAM onboard. It offers 128GB internal storage and runs on Google’s. latest Android 10. It is also one of the first smartphones to receive the Android 11 update right on the day of launch.
In the camera department, the device gets a single 12.2MP f/1.7 rear camera (Yes. you read it right. Only one rear camera) which will be far superior compared to many other quad-camera smartphones available in the market. On the front, the Pixel 4a comes with an 8MP punch-hole camera positioned on the top left of the device. For security, you’ll get a fingerprint reader placed on the rear side of the device.

Google Pixel 4a comes only in Black color and priced at $349 (Approx. ₹26,200). It is available for pre-order in the U.S. on the Google Store, Google Fi, and available to customers on 20th August through the Google Store, BestBuy.com, and Amazon.com. It will also be made available via U.S. carriers including Google Fi, U.S. Cellular, and Verizon. Pixel 4a Fabric Cases available in four colors and priced at $40.
