Fossil expands its smartwatch lineup with the launch of Fossil Gen5 in India. It comes with the 1.3-inch circular touch-enabled display and powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 3100 platforms with Wear OS by Google. It comes preloaded with a Cardiogram app that visualizes heart rate data into interactive charts to help you identify what could contribute to spikes and dips in your heart rate. You can also track how health metrics compared to millions of other Cardiogram users for signs of undiagnosed diabetes, sleep apnea, hypertension, and atrial fibrillation.
In addition to the microphone, the key highlight of the Fossil Gen5 is Swimproof Speaker that allows you to hear responses from the Google Assistant and also take calls on the smartwatch itself. Make a note that, as of now, Android users will be able to answer tethered calls, and later this fall, a proprietary app will be made available to iPhone users to answer calls using the phone.
