Billion is the new Brand launched by Flipkart under the initiative of Made for India. Today, the company has launched its first smartphone dubbed as Billion Capture+ which is completely designed and engineered in India. It’s a dual-camera smartphone comes with a 5.5″ full HD display and driven by the Qualcomm Snapdragon octa-core CPU mated with 3GB or 4GB of RAM. This dual SIM 4G smartphone houses a Hybrid SIM tray and supports microSD card up to 128GB. In terms of design, it has a premium metal body with curved edges and equipped with a fingerprint scanner that is mounted on the rear side.
Coming to the camera, it has dual camera setup which includes a 13MP RGB and a 13MP monochrome sensor with dual-tone LED flash. The rear camera also supports PDAF and various camera modes such as Super night, Bokeh effect, Depth-of-field etc. Also, there is an 8MP front camera for selfies and video calls. Out of the box, it runs on Android 7.1.2 Nougat with a guaranteed upgrade to Android Oreo in the coming months. Furthermore, this device is powered by the 3500mAh battery that supports Quick charge and can provide up to seven hours of battery life with 15 minutes of charging. Other key specifications are USB Type-C port, Bluetooth, WiFi, and GPS.
The Billion Capture+ smartphone is offered in two hues – Mystic Black and Desert Gold. The 3GB/32GB storage is priced at ₹10,999 and 4GB/64GB at ₹12,999. Both variants will go on sale via Flipkart starting 15th November 2017.
