Now Avail Debit Card EMI on Everything You Need to Know

Amazon Pay today announced the expansion of EMIs on Debit Cards with ICICI, Axis and HDFC bank. The Debit Card EMIs allows eligible customers to shop on with installments using pre-approved limits without making full payment at time of purchase. EMI on Debit cards facility is available for customers of HDFC, ICICI and Axis Bank who have been pre-approved by their banks. There is no need to submit any additional documents or require to keep minimum balances in the bank account in order to avail Debit EMI facility.

How to Buy products on with debit card EMI

  • Go to the product page
  • Check for your bank’s eligibility under EMI options
  • Add the product to cart
  • At the checkout page, select preferred EMI option (6, 9 or 12 Months)
  • Validate the payment using a One-time password (OTP)
  • Complete the purchase

How to check the Eligibility for Debit Card EMI

HDFC Bank users should send an SMS DCEMI <Last 4 Digits of Debit Card> to 56767 to check the eligibility. ICIC Bank and Axis Bank customers will receive an SMS or E-Mail from the respective bank confirming the eligibility for Debit Card EMI on if you haven’t received any confirmation, contact bank’s customer support to check the eligibility.

Things to remember

  • This facility is available only to pre-approved customers of HDFC, ICICI and Axis bank
  • The minimum cart value to avail Debit card EMI is ₹10,000 for HDFC bank and ₹8,000 for ICICI & Axis Bank
  • EMI tenure is 6, 9 and 12 months
  • Debit Card EMI is available on Select products and sellers
  • Your bank will deduct monthly EMI amount from your bank account basis the EMI option chosen by you
  • Bank will charge you interest will be added to your monthly installment which you pay. You can check the interest charges and EMI amount on product detail page as well as payment page before making e payment
  • First installment will be deducted 30 days from the date of transaction
  • In case you wish to repay the amount early, contact your bank to close the EMI. Your bank might levy additional charges for pre-closure of the loan
  • No Cost EMI is not available for Debit Card EMI users
  • If you cancel or return the product, Bank may charge foreclosure or cancelation fees
