How to Create Your Own WhatsApp Stickers: Step by Step Instructions

WhatsApp has rolled out a new feature that allows you to send Stickers with your friends and family. WhatsApp comes preloaded with a few sticker packs and also you can download various apps from the Google Play Store for additional stickers. Apart from theses already available stickers, you can even Create your own stickers within a fraction of seconds. Even though there are many apps available on the Play Store, my favorite is Sticker Maker for WhatsApp. Follow the below tutorial for step by step instructions.

  • Now, select the Image from the Gallery or Take a picture from your phone’s camera. In this tutorial, I have selected an image from my Gallery. Alternatively, you can also download any royalty-free images from Google Image Search. While selecting the image, make sure it is transparent (PNG). A transparent image doesn’t include any background and looks good when you share it on the WhatsApp
  • Once you select the image, select the sticker area by drawing an outline using your fingers
