Coolpad Note 5 Lite has been launched in India at ₹ 8,199. It is a lighter version of Coolpad Note 5 which was launched in October 2016. It’s a Dual SIM 4G device features a hybrid slot and also supports VoLTE. The primary memory offered is 16GB and that can be further expanded up to 64GB using a microSD card. Fingerprint scanner is mounted just below the rear camera and it can also be used to make calls, open apps and to take pictures.
Note 5 Lite features a 5″ IPS display with scratch resistant 2.5D Glass on top and powered by 1GHz MediaTek processor with 3GB of RAM. The camera is the most highlighted part in which both 13MP rear and 5MP front cameras are coupled with a LED flash. It has a Metal unibody design similar to Coolpad Note 5 and runs on Cool UI 8.0 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Connectivity options include WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth, FM Radio, and USB OTG. Also, another important highlight is the 2500mAh battery which provides up to 200 hours of standby time.
Coolpad Note 5 Lite is sold in Grey and Gold colors and exclusively available via Amazon India starting March 21, 2017 for ₹ 8,199.
Difference Between Coolpad Note 5 and Note 5 Lite
The major difference between both devices includes Display, Processor, RAM, and the Battery. Coolpad Note 5 has a 5.5″ Full HD Display, 1.5GHz Snapdragon 617 Processor, 4GB RAM, and 4010mAh Battery. Coolpad Note 5 Lite features a 5″ 720p Display, 1GHz Mediatek Processor, 3GB RAM and 2500mAh Battery. Note 5 Lite has a 16GB Storage wherein Note 5 has 32GB storage. Cameras on the both smartphones are same and Note 5 Lite is about ₹ 2,800 cheaper than the Note 5 which is retailing at ₹ 10,999.
