Home-grown fitness start-up Cockatoo launches its first smart wearable device called Y2 Smart smartwatch in India. The smartwatch boasts a premium design and has a touch-enabled 1.4-inch TFT display. The watch comes with 12 watch faces that can be easily customized as per your mood. The Y2 smart is IP 68- certified and also features a water-resistance ABS body.
The watch runs on Apollo 3 chipset and also includes a 6-Axis Accelerometer and a GPS sensor by UBLOX. The device is capable of providing a battery life up to 10 days and includes various health features such as Heart Rate tracking, Sleep monitoring, Breath training, Step counter, Distance traveled, Calories burnt. The smartwatch even supports 4 Sports activity modes – Walking, Running, Outdoor cycling, and Indoor cycling.
Other key features are Music control, Camera control, Smartphone notifications such as WhatsApp, Gmail, Facebook, etc. Clock date display, weather forecast, a stopwatch, and GPS tracking. The watch is compatible with iOS devices and Android devices running on Android 4.2 or later. The watch uses Bluetooth 4.2 for connectivity.
