New Generation MacBook Air was first introduced in June 2019 with Retina Display and Butterfly Keyboard. Now, Apple has updated MacBook Air with faster performance, the new Magic Keyboard and twice the storage. According to Apple, the new MacBook Air delivers up to 2-times faster CPU performance and up to 80% faster graphics performance compared to the previous generation.
For the first time, Apple has also provided the MacBook Air with Quad-core CPU for more speed and improved performance. The new MacBook Air comes with the latest 10th-generation Intel Core processors up to 1.2GHz quad-core Core i7 with Turbo Boost speeds up to 3.8GHz. Also with Intel Iris Plus Graphics, the new MacBook Air delivers up to 80 percent faster graphics performance.
One of the key highlights of MacBook Air is the new Magic Keyboard that was first introduced on the 16-inch MacBook Pro. The Keyboard has a redesigned scissor mechanism that delivers 1mm of key travel for a comfortable feel, while the new inverted “T” arrangement for the arrow keys makes them easier to find without looking down. Coming to the design, the MacBook Air features a unibody wedge design made from 100 percent recycled aluminium.

The New MacBook Air with Magic Keyboard is available in three colors – Gold, Space Gray & Silver with three different processors and two storage options. The Core i3/256GB SSD variant priced at ₹92,990 and the Core i5/512GB SSD at ₹1,22,990. Both variants will be available through Apple Authorised Resellers across India starting 3rd week of March 2020.
