Apple iPhone 11 with 6.1-inch Liquid Retina Display, Dual Rear Cameras Launched in India Starting at ₹64,990

Apple announces iPhone 11 at an event held in Steve Jobs Theater California, USA. It comes with a 6.1-inch LCD Liquid Retina display with wide color support and True Tone for a more natural viewing experience. Under the hood is Apple’s New-gen. A13 Bionic chipset that features up to 20 percent faster CPU and GPU than A12. According to Apple, the A13 Bionic is built for machine learning, with a faster Neural Engine for real-time photo and video analysis, and new Machine Learning Accelerators that allow the CPU to deliver more than 1 trillion operations per second. In terms of design, the iPhone 11 is made up of a single piece of glass and also rated IP68 for water resistance up to 2 meters for up to 30 minutes.

In the camera department, the iPhone 11 comes with 12MP Dual camera setup on the rear side with 12MP f/1.8 wide-angle lens and a 12MP f/2.4 with 120˚ Ultra wide-angle lens. The front camera has a 12MP lens and also supports 4K video recording. Just like the predecessor, the new iPhone also supports Dual SIM functionality with the help of a Nano-SIM slot and an onboard eSIM. Apple has also confirmed that the latest iOS 13 update will be available on September 19 followed by iOS 13.1 update on September 30 with additional software features.
