Acer Chromebook Spin 513 with Qualcomm Snapdragon 7c, 4G LTE Support, 360˚Hinge Announced

Acer announces its first Chromebook called Chromebook Spin 513 at a global online launch event held on 21st October. The all new Chromebook is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 7c compute platform and offers battery life up to 14 hours. It also comes with an optional 4G LTE connectivity to stay connected where there a lack of Wi-Fi connection.

The Acer Chromebook Spin 513 a 13.3-inch full HD IPS touchscreen display with 78% screen-to-body ratio and protected by Coring Gorilla Glass. It has an aluminum top cover and comes with a touchpad that provide resistance to scratches and damage. It is available in multiple configurations – up to 8GB LPDDR4X SDRAM and up to 128 GB of storage.

The Spin 513 weighs about 1.2Kg and also equipped with a pair of 360-degree hinges that allows you to use it as a laptop or a tablet. In terms of connectivity, the device supports 802.11ac Wi-Fi with 2×2 MIMO technology, Bluetooth 5.0 and include USB Type-C ports, USB 3.2 Type-A port, DisplayPort over USB-C, and also USB charging. It supports apps via Google Play and comes with dual microphones for clear voice calls.

The Acer Chromebook Spin 513 (CP513-1H) will be available in North America in February 2021 starting at USD 399.99 (Approx. ₹30,000) and in EMEA in January 2021, starting at EUR 429 (Approx. ₹37,500). Similarly, the Acer Chromebook Enterprise Spin 513 will be available in North America in March 2021 starting at USD 699.99 (Approx. ₹51,500) and in EMEA in February 2021, starting at EUR 699 (Approx. ₹61,000)
