Chinese smartphone maker Vivo has launched, company’s much anticipated Dual front camera smartphone Vivo V5 Plus in India for ₹ 27,980. It comes with the metal unibody design with curved edges and front mounted fingerprint scanner. It is the upgraded version Vivo V5 which was launched in November 2016.
Vivo V5 Plus is powered by 2GHz Snapdragon 625 Processor with Adreno 506 GPU paired with 4GB RAM. The 5.5″ full HD display has 2.5D glass and protected by Corning Gorilla glass 5. It offers 64GB onboard storage and runs on Funtouch OS 3.0 based on Android Marshmallow. The 3160mAh battery is powered by Dual-Charging Engine for faster charging. It’s a dual SIM 4G smartphone supports VoLTE but lacks an expandable memory slot. Other specifications include Dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and USB OTG.
The front Dual camera setup has a 20MP Sony IMX376 sensor with the secondary 8MP camera. The primary 20MP sensor takes the high-quality pictures while the secondary sensor provides depth of field information. The unique moonlight Selfie flash provides a lightening effect that helps to take brighter and high-quality selfies. The rear camera has a 16MP sensor coupled with LED flash and also supports 4K video recording.
Vivo V5 is offered only in Gold color option and priced at ₹ 27,980. Pre-booking begins 24th Jan and the first sale is scheduled on 1st Feb.
