Along with the Android One powered New Nokia 6, Nokia has also introduced yet another Android One smartphone dubbed as Nokia 7 Plus at MWC 2018. Its a Dual-camera smartphone comes with a primary 12MP wide-angle and a secondary 13MP camera that delivers 2x optical zoom. Both dual rear sensors are made with ZEISS optics and perform well under low-light and also under extra-bright conditions. For high-quality selfies and video calls, the front camera has a 16MP sensor with ZEISS optics. The Nokia 7 Plus features enhanced Dual-sight mode lets you record both front and the rear camera at the same time with Nokia spatial audio. You can even live-stream the video to popular social feeds such as Facebook, Youtube etc.
Nokia 7 Plus has a 6-inch Full HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 18:9 and driven by the octa-core Snapdragon 660 CPU with a non-removable 3800mAh battery that can deliver up to two-days of battery life. It comes with 4GB RAM and offers an internal storage of 64GB that can be further expanded up to 256GB using microSD slot. Being a part of Google’s Android One program with Android Oreo out of the box, this device will receive regular security updates and two years of OS upgrades. Other key specifications are Bluetooth 5.0, WiFi ac, Three microphones, Smart AMP, 3.5mm audio port, and a USB Type-C port. Along with the fingerprint scanner, Nokia is also providing Face Unlock feature to Nokia 7 Plus which will be made available in Q2, 2018 through an over-the-air (OTA) update.
The Nokia 7 Plus is sold in three colors – Black/Copper, White/Iron & Blue/Gold, and will go on sale starting April 2018 for a global average retail price of €399 (Approx. ₹31,900).
