As part of its #AirtelThanks program Airtel today launched a new prepaid bundle at ₹299 to offer 28 days of Amazon Prime membership at no additional cost along with 2.5GB data/day, Unlimited calls to any network and 100 SMS/day. Smartphone customers recharging with the pack will get access to all Amazon Prime benefits that include Prime Video, Prime Music, Prime Reading and unlimited free fast shipping on millions of items along with early and exclusive access to deals on Amazon.in.
The Amazon Prime membership can be activated through AirtelThanks app. Access to Prime Video is available after downloading the Prime Video app on supported devices. Customers can sign-up for Amazon Prime anytime during the 28-day validity of the pack and use benefits till the pack expires. Benefits will end once the validity expires. Simply recharge with the same pack again to restart their Amazon Prime membership without having to sign in. Amazon Prime membership is also available to Airtel Infinity Postpaid Plans customers at no additional cost.
How to activate Amazon Prime membership?
- Purchase the ₹299 pack from AirtelThanks app, airtel.in, Amazon.in and Amazon Pay or the nearest Airtel retail store
- Within minutes of purchasing the pack, you get an SMS from Airtel to download the AirtelThanks app
- Download the Airtel app and click on the Activate Prime banner on the app homepage
- Login to Amazon from the AirtelThanks app with an existing Amazon account or by creating a new one
- The Amazon Prime membership will be activated instantly
