Micromax subsidiary, Yu Televentures has launched a new mid-range smartphone Yu Yureka Black in India. It flaunts a metal body design with the fingerprint scanner placed at the front side. It features a 5″ 2.5D glass Full HD display and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Under the hood, Yureka Black is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 Octa-core CPU with 4GB RAM and boots on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It’s a Dual SIM 4G device offers an internal memory of 32GB and supports VoLTE. You can also expand the device storage up to 64GB using a microSD card.
In terms of camera, it has a 13MP Sony IMX258 sensor at the rear side equipped with a Dual LED Flash and also supports PDAF technology for faster focusing. At the front, an 8MP camera for selfies coupled with a Selfie Flash and comes preloaded with various modes such as Beauty, Smile Shot, Wide Selfie etc. Another important highlight of this device is the Always On Fingerprint Sensor. It allows you to reach the Home Screen with a gentle tap and also capable of unlocking your smartphone in less than 0.2 seconds. As per Yu, the 3000mAh battery can provide backup up to 2 days with a single charge. Other key specifications include 1080p Recording, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, and FM Radio.
