Xiaomi announces Redmi Y2, the successor of last years Redmi Y1. Its a selfie-centric smartphone comes with a 16MP front camera with 79.8° wide-angle lens and supports AI Beauty 4.0. The rear camera has a dual camera setup that includes a primary 12MP and a secondary 5MP sensor with a LED flash. The Redmi Y2 has a 5.99-inch HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 18:9 and powered by the Snapdragon 625 Mobile platform with a 3080mAh battery. It comes in two configurations – 3GB/32GB and 4GB/64GB with a dedicated microSD slot to expand the device storage up to 256GB.

It will be available to buy exclusively via Amazon.in, Mi.com starting 12th June 2018 followed by the MI Preferred Partner stores across India in the coming days. Xiaomi has also announced that the Redmi Y2 will receive the MIUI 10 beta in June 2018.
