Along with the Redmi Note 8, Xiaomi has also announced Redmi Note 8 Pro with an upgraded Processor, Camera, and Battery. It boasts a 6.53-inch Full HD+ Dot notch display with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and packs an upgraded 4,5000 battery that supports 18W fast charging. The Redmi Note 8 Pro is powered by the MediaTek’s latest Helio G90T octa-core processor and available in three RAM/Storage variants – 6GB / 64GB, 6GB / 128GB and 8GB / 128GB.
Similar to Redmi Note 8, the Note 8 Pro also houses Quad-camera setup on the rear side. The setup includes a vertically-stacked Samsung-made 64MP GW1 sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens with a 120° field of view, 2MP macro lens, and also a 2MP depth sensor. The rear camera is also capable of outputting high-resolution photos for print mediums up to 3.26 meters in height. For selfie, you’ll get an upgraded 20MP sensor that supports various AI modes. There is also a fingerprint scanner placed inside the camera module just below the 3rd camera sensor.
