Just a day after announcing the price cut for Mi A2, Xiaomi announces a permanent price cut for its popular budget smartphone Redmi Note 5 Pro in India. Starting 8 January 2019, the 4GB / 64GB variant will retail at ₹12,999 and the 6GB / 64GB at ₹13,999. The New prices are applicable across Mi.com, Amazon.in, Flipkart and offline retail stores. Xiaomi has also confirmed that the Redmi Note 5 series has surpassed 1 crore units of sale since its launch.
To recall, the Xioami Redmi Note 5 Pro, Xioami’s one of the top-selling smartphones comes with a 5.99-inch display 18:9 display and powered by the octa-core Snapdragon 636 processor with a 4000mAh battery. It has a 12MP +5MP dual-camera setup on the rear side and a 20MP front camera with LED-Selfie light.
