Xiaomi announces Redmi 6, the successor of last years Redmi 5 in India. It sports a 5.45-inch HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 18:9 and powered by the MediaTek Helio P22 octa-core processor with a 3,000mAh battery. The Redmi 6 comes in two configurations – 3GB RAM with 32GB Storage and 4GB RAM with 64GB Storage. It’s a Dual SIM 4G device supports Dual VoLTE and also equipped with a dedicated MicroSD tray. Make a note that, When using both SIM slots, either card can be set as the primary card the VoLTE supported only on the primary SIM slot.
For photography, it has a Dual camera setup on the rear side that includes a primary 12MP and a secondary 5MP sensor with LED flash. For selfies and video calls, it has a 5MP sensor at the front that supports AI portraits. The Redmi 6 has a polycarbonate back with a brushed metallic finish and also comes with the rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
