Xiaomi today announces its first 5G smartphone named Mi MIX 3 5G at Mobile World Congress (MWC2019), Barcelona. It sports a 6.39-inch Full HD+ AMOLED and powered by the Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855 Mobile Platform with Qualcomm X50 5G Modem. It is available in two configurations – 6GB RAM with 64GB Storage and 6GB RAM with 128GB Storage. According to Xiaomi, the Mi MIX 3 5G can connect to sub-6GHz signal that has gigabit-class download speed, which is tens of times faster than 4G network.
The Mi MIX 3 5G uses Xiaomi’s patented magnetic slider and it can be set the slide to perform functions such as answering calls or starting up the camera app. It has a premium design with ceramic back and also equipped with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. It houses a 3,800mAh battery that Quick Charge 4.0 and also 10W wireless charging. In the camera department, this smartphone gets the same 12MP AI dual camera setup on the rear side which is present on the Mi MIX 3 and supports various AI Camera features. For selfies, you’ll get 24MP+2MP dual camera setup which is hidden inside the magnetic slider.
