Xiaomi Mi A3 was first introduced on 17th July in Spain, now the brand is all set to bring the much-awaited Mi A3 to India. Xiaomi today officially confirmed that the Mi A3 is launching in India on 21st August 2019 at 12 noon. The launch news is also confirmed by Xiaomi’s Global VP Manu Kumar Jain on Twitter. Even though there is no mention about the Phone’s name, a dedicated page on Amazon India says that the Xiaomi’s upcoming device is Mi A3.
Coming to the specifications, Global variant of Mi A3 sports a 6.088-inch HD+ AMOLED display and fuelled by the Snapdragon 665 Mobile Platform with a 4,030mAh battery that supports Quick Charge 3.0. In the camera department, Mi A3 has 48MP + 8MP + 2MP triple camera setup on the rear and a 32MP camera on the front. Surprisingly, Mi A3 misses out the FullHD+ display compared to Mi A2 but includes the 3.5mm audio port. As this device comes under Android One program boots on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box and will receive the monthly security updates and OS updates for 2-years.
Globally, Mi A3 comes in two variants – 4GB/64GB and 4GB/128GB and priced at €249 (Approx. ₹19,300) and €279 (Approx. ₹21,700) respectively. There are three colors options – Kind of Grey, Not just Blue and More than White. According to our source, there won’t be any changes to the Indian variant of Mi A3 compared to Global variant and price will be around ₹15,000.
