Xiaomi Mi 5X is a Dual camera smartphone sports a 5.5″ display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and has a pixel density of 403ppi. Under the hood is Snapdragon 625 Octa-core processor clocked at 2GHz with 4GB of RAM. It’s a Dual SIM device features a Hybrid SIM tray and runs on MIUI 9 based on the Android Nougat. It flaunts a premium metal unibody design with rounded corners and the rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The Dual rear camera setup is the major highlight of the smartphone which consists of two 12MP sensors – one wide-angle and one telephoto. It supports PDAF, Optical zoom, Pro mode, Background blur mode etc. Furthermore, it is supported by Dual LED flash and can shoot 4K as well as 720p slow motion videos. The front camera has a 5MP sensor comes preloaded with 36 intelligent beauty filters and supports Facial recognition and Real-time beauty. You can also capture 1080p videos using the front camera. For connectivity, it includes Dual-band WiFi ac, Bluetooth, GPS, Reversible Type-C Port, and WiFi display. It has a 3080mAh battery that supports 5V/2A charging and also comes with IR sensor.
Xiaomi Mi 5X is offered in Gold, Rose Gold, and Black colors and priced at RMB 1,499 (Approx. ₹ 14,300). As of now, it is available only in China starting August 1, 2017.
