Vivo has launched Vivo Y53 smartphone in India at ₹ 9,990. Similar to other Vivo smartphones, Y53 also features a metal unibody design with curved edges but lacks a fingerprint scanner. It’s a Dual SIM 4G device, features a dedicated microSD card slot to expand the device memory up to 256GB. It supports TDD 4G Band 40 and also VoLTE.
Vivo Y53 has a 5-inch display with a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels and eye protection mode to filters out blue light to prevent eye strain. The 1.4GHz Snapdragon 425 processor paired with 2GB RAM runs the device along with Adreno 308 GPU. The camera optics include an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and the 5MP camera at the front. For connectivity, it includes WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, FM Radio and also USB OTG. This smartphone has a thickness of 7.46mm and houses a non-removable 2500mAh battery. It comes with an internal memory of 16GB and boots on customized Funtouch OS based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
