Earlier: 20th June 2019 – Vivo announces Vivo Y12, a toned-down variant of Vivo Y15 which was introduced in India a few months ago. Most of the specifications of Vivo Y12 are the same as the Vivo Y15 except the front camera. Vivo Y12 has an 8MP front camera wherein the Vivo VY15 has a 16MP front camera. Rest all specifications including the Display, RAM and Processor remain are identical in both smartphones. Vivo Y12 is available in 4GB RAM and 32GB storage configuration and runs on the Android 9.0 Pie with FunTouch OS 9 on top
The Vivo Y12 is an entry-level smartphone that comes with a 6.35-inch HD+ Halo FullView display and powered by the MediaTek Helio P22 Octa-core processor with a massive 5,000mAh battery. The key highlight of Vivo Y12 is the triple camera on the rear side. The setup includes a primary 13MP sensor, an 8MP wide-angle sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor.
